How Synergy supercharges Hubs
Cannabis delivery is a brutal business. Delivery retailers can rarely reach the volume needed to become profitable. There’s too much competition and too little margin. Synergy proposed a simple idea: what if delivery operators opened up their facility and offered delivery services for any Brand that needs go to DTC. And so the “Hub” was born. By becoming a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Hub, our NSR partners access a sustainable path to profitability. Your extra delivery capacity is our shared opportunity.

What are the characteristics of an ideal Hub?
Our team looks for Hub partners that have an optimal mix of location, facility, ownership, management, and staff. We only partner with Hubs that can deliver the high standards of service Brands expect.
How does Synergy’s pricing work?
There are 3 core fees + 1 optional fee. Core fees: implementation (a one-time fee), a flat per order facilitation fee to Synergy, and a per order % revenue share to the Brands. The Optional fee is for Hubs using the Haze WMS, which has a recurring monthly subscription cost. Learn more about all fees on the pricing page.
How are revenue share payouts handled?
Since the Hub is the primary retail license holder, the Hub is responsible for collecting payments from delivery customers, holding funds, and paying out fees to Brands per the %s of the revenue share agreement. Payouts are scheduled for bi-weekly release.
How can my facility become a Synergy Hub? How long does it take to get up and running?
Register on our signup form and our Partnership team will reach out asap. After selection, onboarding time varies depending on each Hub’s unique needs, but typically ranges from 2-8 weeks.
How does inventory management/ ownership work? Is Synergy’s model METRC compliant?
Synergy’s model is METRC compliant. Brand packages “live” inside each Hub’s METRC. Brands can then track inventory quantities across all Hubs in real time via the Synergy dashboard.
How do Brand inventory shipments get to my Hub? Does Synergy handle distribution?
Brands can use their existing distributors or opt to utilize one of Synergy’s distribution partners.
I’m already using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Do I have to change my software to use Synergy?
Synergy can work with your existing delivery POS system. We also offer a 3PL focused, industry-first Warehouse Management System (WMS) called Haze. While either option is supported, we do recommend Haze for larger Hubs.
Does Synergy provide any assistance and /or resources for Hub partners?
Synergy encourages regular communication between all participants in our ecosystem. We collect feedback from Brand and Hub partners alike and share best practices to help everyone optimize. When possible/ appropriate, we are happy to make introductions with and on-behalf of partners too.
